Orchard Creek Band
Based in Colorado's Front Range, the Orchard Creek Band brings together seasoned musicians with a shared passion for traditional bluegrass, classic country, and old-time American roots music.
With driving banjo, mandolin, fiddle, Dobro, acoustic and upright bass, Orchard Creek delivers the unmistakable sound of traditional bluegrass, featuring strong vocals, strong instrumental breaks, and interesting musical interplay.
The band's repertoire features original songs from their three CDs and draws from bluegrass pioneers and classic country masters. Familiar songs, hard-driving instrumentals, and unexpected gems keep audiences engaged.
Led by Dobro player, guitarist, and vocalist Keith Murdock, Orchard Creek features accomplished Colorado musicians whose experience includes years of performing at festivals, and concerts throughout the region, as well as touring and recording with nationally recognized artists.
Whether delivering a high-energy festival set or an intimate acoustic performance, Orchard Creek stays true to the spirit of bluegrass: great songs, fine picking, heartfelt singing, and the joy of making music together.
